New 40k Ghazghkull Model Has Two Poses!

Ghazghkull thraka rulesGhazghkull is the next big chungus on the block but what might have taken some of us by surprise is that he’s coming with two poses. Check this out.

Spotted on Imgur, there have been some instructions making rounds showing two alternate ways to build the new Ghazghkull model. Check out everything you need to know about Ghazghkull’s new entry into the tabletop.

Ghazghkull Full 40k Rules & Points REVEALED!

ghazghkull

ghazghkull rules officialSpotted first on Warhammer 40,000’s Facebook, we’ve got his datasheet. We saw it earlier, however now that it’s been dropped on one of GW’s official outlets we know that there won’t be any surprises.

Some key things to note about Ghaz’s new stats, however, is that GW took away his Infantry keyword, made him greater than 10 wounds, and now allows rerolls to Friendly Ork Infantry… Meaning you’ll be able to lead a Waaagh! from all different Clans. The only flipside is that he’s not nearly as mobile (unless you teleport him via Goff Strat) and he can be shot at from the start of the game.

Ghaz is also sitting at  285 pts, which might be a fair cost considering he’s a melee powerhouse/force multiplier albeit targetable from the start of the game.

Ghazghkull Model Has Two Poses!

ghazghkull new pose 1Ghazghkull is getting two poses with slight variations between them. One is Ghaz looking to his right with bullet belts dangling in the wind. On the other hand, you’ve also got the option to build Ghaz looking to his left with some barrels smoking off of his gun.

ghazghkull new pose 2When you’re building Ghaz, you’ll also be rotating the same piece of terrain on his base (which an 80mm). With two posing options available or Ghaz you’ll have to be especially careful on the bits you choose for his head/foot placement. From what we can see, that looks to really be the main variations of the two minis.

Now that two options have been revealed, which one will you be building? Would you like to have seen an unnamed Warboss assembly option come in his kit?
