Save Hobby $$$ 40k Prophecy of the Wolf Value

prophecy of the wolfDon’t miss this hobby dollar breakdown for the potential value of everything that comes inside the Prophecy of the Wolf 40k Starter box set.

Warhammer Community pulled back the curtain on the Prophecy of the Wolf Box Set bringing Orks and Space Wolves new models in the form of Ghazghkull and Ragnar respectively. Take a look at the value of both factions and let us know if you’ll be splitting this set with a friend.

ragnar gazghkull

Prophecy of the Wolf Box Set $170

With just a handful of Primaris charging headlong into Gazghkull’s loving Orky arms, it really seems like Orks have the upper hand out of this box. On top of Gazghkull getting promoted to Beast status, he’s also got a bunch of Nobz rolling with him. Here’s what we’ve got coming in the Box Set.

Prophecy of the Wolf Value Breakdown

ragnar

  • 10x Infiltrators $60
  • Primaris Ragnar Blackmane $40? (Primaris named characters all go for $40).
  • New Gazghkull $70? (Abaddon and Guilliman are in the same weight class for model size and go for $60 a pop).
  • Makari ??? (Probably included with Gazghkull when he gets released in his own box).
  • 5x Nobz $30
  • 3x Meganobz $63

Total MSRP: $263

Total Value: $93

Assuming you could buy all of the models inside the Prophecy of the Wolf Box Set, it looks like you’re getting about $93 worth of value. That’s not too bad! Especially if you’re going to be splitting the box with a friend.

With this being the next big box to come to 40k, which faction will you be playing? Are you going to be splitting the box with a friend?
