This may be the size and pricing for the Warmaster Titan in Adeptus Titanicus, and possibly Warhammer 40k as it would be the tallest model ever produced.
Well, after looking at the points and rules yesterday, this is definitely going to be a centerpiece for your army! And, it’s going to have the size to back it up, as well as all the guns. Be sure to check out all the new rules for this behemoth that were revealed.
For now, let’s see just how big this bad boy may just be!
Size & Pricing For the New Warmaster Titan
We’re sure you’ve seen this pic before, but it is quite larger than the actual Warlord, which is already very large! And in-game it’s going to cost double what the Warlord does with even more weaponry and rules.
Size Comparisons
You may be wondering why we’re showing you a 40k Knight, but it’s because the Warmaster in Titanicus Scale appears to be about as big as a 40k Imperial Knight- at least going by those images above!
Now check out the 170 mm oval base the knight above is on, whereas the Warmaster looks to be on a 150 mm (below) because he is basically bursting out of it…
So with the Warmaster potentially making the 150mm looking small, that gives a good indication of the actual size of this bad boy compared to the current Titanicus Warlord (and that it may be coming on the new “ork dragsta” base size of 150mm oval).
Size of the Warmaster in AT
Now the Warmaster may be as tall as the top carapace of the Imperial Knight at about 6-1/2″. Now consider this, at 5-1/2″ tall, the Warlord (right) stands at 22″ as a 40k model from Forge World. That’s exactly 1/4 scale.
So at full scale, the Warmaster titan could stand an impressive 26″ if Forge World produced it in 40k scale…
Price Point
Update: the New Warmaster Titan Retails for $160
For an AT mini, it will be really dipping into your wallet. However, when you consider the point cost, it is cheaper than buying two Warlords.
But you can really only include one in an army for the most part, so this will be the main centerpiece to anchor your forces around.
Could it come to 40k?
If they have this 3D rendered and want to make it in resin, there is no reason they couldn’t bring it to 40k! If you’ve built both the AT Warlord and the 40k one, they are basically the same thing just one scaled-down with certain pieces taken out that don’t scale down well (like the underarm pistons).
So, they could very well do the opposite hear and just scale this up. If they did, it should be right around the 26″ (6 1/2″ x 4) mark, a full four inches bigger than the Warlord titan. That would make this basically the tallest GW kit ever, and we bet it would run you at least $3,000 (!)
Either way, it would be massive and more resin than you could imagine!
Are you excited about this new Titan? Would you ever buy it if they scaled it up?
