A new GW rumor engine is here that looks like it could be a new Ogor Paymaster or Maneater that may be on the way.
Games Workshop just unveiled another rumor engine and this time it’s a treasure chest on the back of a big adventurer, which we would have to say is for AoS.

New GW Rumor Engine: Ogor Maneater
Well, the treasure chest is pretty easy to see what it is right away. That doesn’t mean it’s easy to place however because, in the AoS world, there are plenty of treasure hunters and little holds of gold. While it could always be something for 40k, we’re basically ruling that out for this one.
The most obvious guess for this one (to us at least) would be a new Maneater (or paymaster) for the Ogor Mawtribes. As they are big enough to make the chest look small and then the models already have chests all over them.
If you look at the old model, well, it literally has almost the exact same chest on it! We have heard rumors of them grabbing an update in 2022, so it makes sense to update models so old they are still on square bases on GW’s website!
There is also a pirate Maneater, and you know people love to give treasure to pirates! We would love to see an Ogor update, and seeing new Maneaters, which are just such flavorful minis, would be amazing!
New Age of Sigmar 3.0 Ogors?
According to the latest rumors, Ogors will be getting a new Start Collecting box along with their upcoming new Battletome. They are also said to be getting a new plastic Slaughtermaster/Butcher perhaps to go along with what looks to be a new Maneater above. This is great because all of those minis have needed an update for a long time.
A large portion of the Ogors, in general, are from before the change over to AoS from Warhammer Fantasy, meaning they haven’t been touched in years and years.
