GW’s latest Warhammer rumor engine preview looks like a shotgun with a sling and shells on it. Let’s take a look at what it could be!
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

Rumor Engine: September 9th, 2025
This rumor engine is clearly a gun of some kind with a sling. With that said, we think it’s a shotgun due to the ammo on the sling looking like shotgun shells, but it could also be something else! Any 40k Imperium or Votann minis could easily have this new engine in it!
While Imperium does have some slings on a few miniatures, Votann, especially in Kill Team, have way more, so we think it’s slightly more likely for them to get this new rumor engine bit.
Either way, this is a rumor engine with tons of possible options; it will be cool to see the future mini!
