Editor’s Note: There was a tie for first! Since the other list we covered this week was Necrons, we will cover the Eldar list from this tournament.
1st Place: Richard Cozart, Aeldari (Eldar) Army Lists
The Eldari claimed victory at the Route 66 GT with a list that combined speed, precision, and an infuriating level of grace.
Eldrad Ulthran led the warhost, his psychic power twisting fate itself to suit his plans. The ancient Farseer wielded the Staff of Ulthamar like a conductor’s baton, guiding the flow of battle with impossible foresight.
Beside him, Fuegan blazed across the field, his Fire Axe cutting down foes while Searsong’s fiery blasts turned armor into molten slag. Together, they embodied the perfect balance of wisdom and wrath.
Jain Zar moved like lightning, her Blade of Destruction cutting through elite warriors before they could blink. Lhykhis fought with the eerie rhythm of a predator, her Spider’s Fangs and Weaverender slicing through anything in her path.
Watching from afar, Maugan Ra calmly erased targets with the Maugetar, his every shot a work of art in death.
The Storm Guardians held objectives with disciplined zeal, their flamers and fusion guns sweeping aside resistance as their Serpent’s Scale Platform shimmered with protective energy.
Their Wave Serpent tore across the field, twin bright lances flashing with deadly precision.
Fire Dragons and Dark Reapers laid down terrifying bursts of ranged fire, backed by Falcon grav-tanks whose pulse lasers and bright lances carved through tanks and fortifications alike.
Striking Scorpions struck from the shadows. While Howling Banshees cut through infantry with screaming blades. Rangers picked off key targets from afar, ensuring no movement went unpunished.
Warp Spiders blinked in and out of reality, shredding squads before vanishing again, and Swooping Hawks rained death from above.
1st Place: Brent Simon, Necrons Army Lists
3rd Place: Bryce Watson, Astra Militarum (Imperial Guard) Army Lists
Final Thoughts From Us: Route 66 GT
Thanks to Route 66 GT, we’ve got a fresh look at which armies are taking names and which ones are just taking objectives.
The Aeldari flexed their psychic might and style points, the Necrons proved they’re still a nightmare even without the initiative, and the Astra Militarum dropped enough firepower to shake the paint off the terrain.
If your army isn’t making the podium yet, there’s plenty to learn from these lists before the next balance dataslate scrambles everything
