Bullseye: Range Problems? You Bet
Throwing Knives got snipped down to Range 3 (from 4), which might make you think twice before he starts chucking knives from downtown. He’s still slippery for 2 Threat, but not quite the autopick he used to be. Good change if you’re tired of him showing up in every roster like clockwork.
Doctor Strange (Classic):
The OG Sorcerer had a glow-up:
- Judgment of the Vishanti is now his Leadership, and it’s all about spreading Hex around like glitter at a craft fair.
- Bolts of Bedevilment gets Pierce on a block result—because clearly, more offense was needed.
- Eye of Agamotto and Hoggoth’s Hoary Wisdom can now help on dodge rolls, finally giving him a bit more durability against physical beatdowns.
- Oshtur’s Refuge now reaches out to Range 3, helping teammates from further out.
This version of Strange is now a support-heavy, Hex-slinging control piece who holds the line much better. Way more thematic, too.
Clea: Buffed and Burny
Clea’s looking better—and weirder:
- Stamina on her healthy side is now 6 (up from 5).
- Icy Tendrils of Ikthalon are now easier to land.
- Descendant of the Faltine slaps her with 2 damage if she rolls any failures—not just a failure, any. Risky business.
- Vapors of Dormammu hits at Range 4 now.
- And she picked up Talons of Farallah, which gives her an extra way to spend power and make things hurt.
She’s a proper glass cannon now, and much more fun to field.
Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme: Dodge Rerolls Added
Quick fix here—his Eye of Agamotto now rerolls dodge rolls too. That small tweak helps him live a little longer when things get messy.
Cosmic Ghost Rider: Nothing to See Here
No changes made. He’s still exactly as spicy (and expensive) as he was from the last update.
Marvel Crisis Protocol Card Updates: Power Timing Fixed
Her Frenzy ability now triggers after the attack resolves, so she can actually use power generated by that attack. Big quality-of-life fix. Plus, Adamantium Skeleton is gone, so fewer rules layers to remember mid-turn.
Angela: Cleaner Combos
Angelic Assassin also now triggers after an attack resolves. Less clunky, more intuitive. A good polish for an already popular character.
Heimdall: All-Seeing and Now, All-Reaching
All-Seeing Eyes now goes out to Range 4. He’ll be sharing rerolls from a safe distance like a cosmic coach shouting from the sidelines.
Bishop: Overload Now in the Cleanup Phase
Overload got a timing change to the Cleanup Phase, which might make his trap-style gameplay more manageable for both sides.
Colossus: Punching Smarter
- His Strike no longer concusses—it now Pushes.
- X-Slam swapped its Stagger for a Throw.
- Big Brother now scales based on distance to the attacker.
He’s clearly been refocused toward board control, which fits his big bruiser role way better.
Magik: Sharper and Spookier
- Healthy Stamina is now at 6.
- Bolts of Oshtur slaps on Hex now.
- She’s got Immunity to Incinerate, which is super thematic if you think about her time in Limbo.
Magik’s kit is now more consistent and punishing—good stuff for a midline spell-sword.
Marvel Crisis Protocol Card Updates: Nightcrawler: Timing Tidied Up
Minor polish here—Teleporting Strike and Brimstone Blitz got cleaned up for better timing. Nothing flashy, just smoother turns ahead.
Agent Venom: Shake It Off, Literally
Project Rebirth 2.0 now forces a Shake action. That’s a little slower than before, but hey, clarity counts.
Gambit: Less Punchy, More Tricky
- Kinetic Ace loses 1 Strength and swaps to Energy type.
- 52 Card Pickup now costs 3 Power and got tweaked.
- Enhanced Agility gives him more flexible movement now.
- And The Cards Always Be In My Favor adds a new superpower to mess with the odds.
His damage ceiling is lower, but he’s more mobile and unpredictable. Feels much more like, well… Gambit.
Toad: Tank No More
- Healthy side loses 1 Stamina (from 5 to 4).
- Injured side gains 1 Stamina (up to 4 from 3).
- Tongue Lash no longer Pushes—it Poisons instead.
That’s a fair trade. He’s still slippery but won’t shrug off hits like he’s wearing body armor.
Carnage: Powered-Up Psycho
- Healthy Stamina is now 8 (up from 7).
- Paint the Town Red gives bonus dice now.
- Also, it now triggers after the attack resolves, so he can spend the power he just earned.
This makes Carnage scarier, faster, and smoother to play. Big win for aggressive rosters.
Team Tactic Cards: A Bit of Housekeeping
- Seven Suns of Cinnibus, Vapors of Valtorr, Magnetic Crush, Mutant Traitor, and Astral Ring all got clarity updates.
- On Mutant Traitor, the extra damage from Amplified Ammunition now triggers only once and only after all attacks are resolved.
Good changes for cleanup and consistency.
