Painting a demon sword can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be, check out this painting tutorial to get your miniatures on point!

This time around he paints up Crowe’s sword, but you can do use it for any of the demon swords out there. It’s a pretty easy way to get a really cool effect without a ton of effort. Let’s get into the tutorial!
Painting a Demon Sword: Galharen Tutorial

Step 1
To start, he does a Zenithal highlight on the blade and then does a quick white coat on the runes with the brush. Next, he loads Magenta from Vallejo into the airbrush and does light coats on the flames, with a bigger focus near the blade.
Next, he does a thin layer near the edge of the flames with Hexed Purple. You can add a little black to the mix if you want more contrast.
