Remember, these are mostly designed for new players to the latest faction and are marketed as a quick way to get an army on the table to play some small games fast.

Most times, the starter-style kits are a pretty good value. So even if you have some of the models for the armies, these could be a decent value. Let’s see what you can save!

Is the Beasts of Chaos Vanguard Box Worth it?

You do get a good core of units in this box, so if you are looking to start an army, this would be a good way to go! Even if you’ve been collecting BoC for a while now, this could get you a bunch of models in one buy.

While the value isn’t the highest we’ve ever seen (it’s up there, though), for the price, it still gets you a decent number of units and value.

The Gloomspite Gitz are a frighteningly diverse huddle of hooligans, featuring bands of grots, squigs, and troggoths – and this Vanguard box contains a curated selection from all three. A cackling Loonboss leads 20 Moonclan Stabbas (who can also be built as Shootas), 10 Squig Hoppers (or Boingrot Bounderz), and three Rockgut Troggoths into battle, giving you the tools to create a balanced army of Destruction.

  • Loonboss $32
  • 20 Moonclan Stabbas $42
  • 10 Squig Hoppers $55
  • Rockgut Troggoths $60

Total MSRP: $189

Total savings versus the $140 box price: $49

Is the Gloomspite Gitz Vanguard Box Worth it?

Well, this really doesn’t have that much value compared to a lot of the boxes we’ve seen. While it has a lot of models inside, the value is a little small.

However, if you’re starting the army and want all the models inside, it will save you from buying them separately. So, if you need all the models, it is a decent pickup. If there is a single unit you’re not planning on using, this box may not really be worth it to you. So, just keep that in mind!
