Games Workshop, along with independent organizers, is hosting exciting events and tournaments at places like Warhammer World in Nottingham and various locations worldwide, including the US Open, throughout 2024 and into 2025.
These tournaments cater to most major Games Workshop games, including Kill Team, Warhammer 40k, and Age of Sigmar. Events like these are an excellent opportunity for hobbyists to participate and play their favorite games.

Las Vegas Open: January 2025
LVO is one of the best events every year, with tons of games, previews, and so much more! The convention will return to Rio in 2025, and tickets normally go up for sale the summer before.
Cherokee Open– February 2025
Veteran gamers from all walks of life say that the Cherokee Open is their absolute favorite event of the year, and it’s easy to see why. This retreat-style shindig perfectly marries Warhammer tournament community vibes with fierce competition, making for an epic weekend of fun!
Nestled in the gorgeous Smoky Mountains on the Cherokee Reservation, this event is the ultimate weekend escape. When you’re not rolling dice, you and your crew can kick back and enjoy the resort’s many delights – from bowling alleys and bars to a cozy fireside patio, a massive casino, and a smorgasbord of dining options.
AdeptiCon- March 2025
AdeotiCon is one of the biggest tabletop gaming conventions out there, and it grew 20% from 2023 to 2024, so it’s time for a move. Illinois will no longer host the convention, as a move up in size from the current convention center doesn’t seem feasible to stay there.
However, it’s not too far of a move, and going to a new city will be a fun change of pace. Most of the GW games sell out very quickly, especially the Warhammer 40k tournaments, so if you want to play any of them, get them early and don’t wait! However, be sure to use the links above, as there could be some issues if you go to the main AdeptiCon site.
Rocky Mountain Open– March 2025
The Rocky Mountain Open is following the lead of Frontline Gaming’s fan-favorite, the SoCal Open, by being hosted at a fairgrounds complex away from the city chaos. This spot is the perfect getaway and gives plenty of room for the event to grow year after year.
The Adams County Fairground was handpicked for its comfy Exhibit Hall and top-notch facilities, plus it’s just under 20 minutes from Denver International Airport. Attendees can dodge all that notorious city traffic to get into the Warhammer tournament mindset.
Bay Area Open– May 2025
The Bay Area Open is like the granddaddy of all events for Frontline Gaming, the one that kicked everything off. If you want to spend time near the beach, get in some gaming, and get your hobby fix, you can’t go wrong with the BAO!
The ATC Circuit
The ATC tournaments are always so much fun! If you want to play some Warhammer tournament team games with your friends, these are the best ones we’ve found. They have one coming up in April, so if you want to play a big event, be sure to grab your tickets before they are gone!
Atlantic City Open– June 2025
The ACO is FLG’s big East Coast bash. With its stunning hall, swanky casino resort, and iconic Atlantic City beachside boardwalk, this is a weekend that’ll be etched in your memory! The Atlantic City Open takes place at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center, right next to Harrah’s Atlantic City Resort and Casino.
The resort has it all—an amazing pool, numerous bars, and restaurants, and it’s just a short drive from the famous Atlantic City Beach. Plus, the Harrah’s Hotel is conveniently attached to the convention center for the Warhammer tournaments in 2024-25!
NATC Championship– July 2025
This is the big event for ATC every year! It always takes place in July, and it’s super fun, with a ton of games to play! You can’t miss this event if you want to bring some hobby friends and play games! Tickets are available now, so grab yours before they are gone!
The NOVA Open- August into September 2025
If you live in the Northeastern US, this is a great event with a ton of different games represented! This year, the event will take place from August 28th to September 1st. Tickets are already on sale, and some games have sold out, so don’t wait any longer to lock in your Warhammer tournament.

November Warhammer World 40k Tournaments & Events for 2024
Clash of Arms is a single-day Warhammer: The Horus Heresy showdown where budding Praetors bring a 1,500-point Crusade force for three friendly skirmishes in the Age of Darkness. Newbie or battle-hardened vet, it’s the perfect way to spend a day with fellow hobbyists.

December Warhammer World 40k Tournaments Events for 2024
With the latest Warhammer 40,000 Boarding Actions book now out, there’s no better way to see how you handle tight quarters than with a one-day, three-game event.
