Games Workshop has announced new Horus Heresy, White Dwarf, Black Library, and Classic Print releases, making it a great week for all hobbyists!
There’s good news this week for hobbyists who want to expand their Old World and Horus Heresy armies. Here are the new releases coming to pre-order with your favorite retailers on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, around 1 p.m. EST here in the States.
GW Reveals New Forge World Resin Minis, Classic Art, & More Pre-Orders Lineup
Games Workshop has announced exciting new releases, including Forge World Resin minis, White Dwarf, Black Library, and more. The pre-orders will be available on March 2nd, 2024!
We’ve got a huge Sunday Preview this week, including the Solar Auxilia Battle Group and new miniatures for the Horus Heresy. Then there’s a massive second wave of releases for the Tomb Kings of Khemri and Kingdom of Bretonnia. Check it all out in the video below.
Stormseer Consul
The psykers of the White Scars learned from the ancient traditions of Chogoris, whose shamans were able to predict and control the weather. A synthesis of psychic power and ancient tradition produced the Stormseer Consuls, warriors wielding meteorological might to aid their allies and strike down their foes. This is an expert kit made from Forge World resin, and comes with two head options.
Dark Emissary Consul
Wielding a Staff of Dark Authority, the Dark Emissary Consul is a pair of watchful eyes for the Warmaster Horus, ensuring that allies of the Sons of Horus meet his exacting standards. The Dark Emissary has no compunction as a grim executioner to enforce his master’s will either. This is an expert kit made from Forge World resin.
Apothecarion Detachment
Even the unyielding Legiones Astartes require medical aid on the battlefield, and Apothecaries are responsible for caring for the wounded and delivering final mercy to those beyond saving. Their duty also extends to recovering the gene-seed should an Astartes fall. These two are a single expert kit made from Forge World resin.
As with all Horus Heresy, even the generic models have a ton of iconography!
White Dwarf Issue 498
The greatest gaming magazine in the world is back with Combat Patrol rules for Vantarrion’s Voidsmen – a Rogue Trader and her crew – and for games of three and four players. For Kill Team, the Blades of Khaine rules are published, while in Warhammer Age of Sigmar, there are new rules for massive games in Gathering of Might, and Baron Veingulper in Warhammer Quest: Cursed City. And that’s just scratching the surface, with great content for many more game systems.
The Hollow King (special edition)
A Soulblight vampire who accepted the curse as his people and kingdom fell to Chaos, Cado Ezechiar now roams the Realm of Death seeking retribution and salvation for the ones he failed. Aided by the bound spirits of those he lost, Cado follows a path of revenge, hunting the servants of Chaos to slake his need for blood while seeking the Sorcerer of Change who destroyed his kingdom. When his hunt leads him to the free city of Aventhis, Cado becomes caught up in the machinations of greater powers – beings who see the city and its people as dust in the eyes of ambitious gods.
The debut Cado Ezechiar novel gets the lavish special edition treatment, including four short stories and an afterword all by author John French. This exquisite package has a lovely embossed cover, a ribbon bookmark, and gold foil blocking – fit for a personage of Cado’s stature.
Hollow King is a story with a cool premise, but this version is sure to go fast, so hop on it if you want it!
Classic Warhammer Art Prints
Nearly two dozen stone-cold classic pieces of Warhammer art from an earlier era are also going on sale next Saturday. These are iconic covers from Codexes and Warhammer Armies books, covering many of your favourite factions in the vivid colour palette that was the style at the time.
These prints are available in the UK, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The American versions come framed.
