A glistening city built during the great brother-war still prospers in these dark times. The ancient architects had constructed Castograd to be a jewel of the old empire. Obidencia. Laboris. Fidelis. The governor’s iron creed secured order, prosperity and independance across the system. But everything changed when driven by envy the armies of him on terra made planetfall.
In great haste the apostate governor was forced to recall his regiments from the frontlines. Returning from the fringe wars the Castograd Guard bolstered the defence of their home planet. It seemed though the Guard had changed. Once proud and glorious soldiers had turned bitter and grim. Devotion to unholy powers spread through their ranks but their resolve grew stronger than ever. The imperial eagle broke his beak on cold, remorseless iron.
