GW’s new Warhammer rumor engine preview looks like apothecary gear, but there are a ton of possibilities. Let’s take a look at what it could be!
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

Rumor Engine: October 14th, 2025
This rumor engine is clearly some form of robotics for a techmarine or apothecary. There are tons of possibilities for Chaos Space Marines, Imperium, or even Necromunda. That being said, you may notice a small detail in the bottom left that somewhat resembles Chaos Space Marines’ armor trim!
Fabius Bile is a relatively recent and well-designed model, so refer to his mechanical arms for reference.
You can see a huge similarity with the new rumor engine; he’s just missing the “grabby-tech-marine” part. There’s also a possibility that the needle-like portion is a welder, making it more akin to a Chaos Techmarine than a Chaos Apothecary, but we lean towards medical technology here.
Either way, this is a rumor engine with tons of possible options; it will be cool to see the future mini!
