Here’s Games Workshop’s new Horus Heresy Saturnine separate releases, plus End and the Death Vol 3, which are hitting pre-order this week.
Games Workshop has revealed its latest pre-orders this week for the Horus Heresy, featuring the separate Saturnine kits, the old Drop Pod, and some Black Library titles like The End and The Death, Volume 3, too.
Games Workshop is cracking open the Saturnine box and letting the goodies out. Praetors, beefed-up Terminators, Veteran squads with disintegrators, and not one but two towering Siege Dreadnoughts.
Let’s break down what’s coming and why your backlog’s about to grow.
Incoming: Big Horus Heresy Drops
These products will be available for pre-order on Saturday, August 2nd, with a shelf release date of Saturday, August 16th, 2025.

New Warhammer Horus Heresy Pre-Order Releases
New pre-orders are here for The Horus Heresy Age of Darkness, bringing a tidal wave of excitement for all 30k players out there!
Saturnine Praetor
This guy rolls onto the battlefield like he owns the place, decked out in prototype Saturnine-pattern Terminator armor. You get a bunch of options: concussion hammer, war axe, plasma blaster, four heads, chest doodads, shoulder swag, tabards or pteruges. The base has rubble for posing, but it’s easy to snip off if you want to mix it up. Oh, and the box comes with 339 character decals.
Saturnine Terminator Squad
Big, mean, and covered in guns, these Terminators wear Saturnine armor and bring serious firepower. Each squad of four comes with a mess of options: heads, plasma bombards, heavy disintegrators, and Saturnine fists for punching stuff into the ground. Posing is easy with ball-jointed knees and optional tabs. You’ll also get 618 infantry decals to slap all over them.
Saturnine Siege Dreadnought Chiron Pattern
Bigger than a Leviathan and just as angry, the Chiron version of the Siege Dread has a disintegrator cannon, plasma bombard, and your pick of chest weapons. Cosmetic bits include loyalist or traitor gear, two heads with faceplates, a sculpted halo, and layered armor options. Comes with 528 dreadnought decals.
Saturnine Siege Dreadnought Ophion Pattern
Same beefy frame as the Chiron, different guns. The Ophion swaps in an inversion beamer, graviton pulveriser, and heavy particle shredders. Cosmetics match the Chiron, and yes, you still get the same 528 dreadnought decals.
Weapon Sprues: Sold Separately
Need just the arms? They’re up for grabs too. Perfect if you’re into magnets or building your own Franken-dread.
Centurion with Power Maul
This Centurion means business. He’s rocking MkII Crusade armor and swinging a power maul, with a helmeted or rebreather-toting bare head. Includes 339 decals to make him look extra important.
MkII Veteran Squad with Disintegrators
Ten veteran Legionaries get all the flashy guns. Disintegrator rifles, pistols, blasters, combi versions, heavies, and battery packs. You’ll also get a tactical accessories sprue and 618 decals.
Disintegrator Weapons Upgrade Set
Two sprues packed with disintegrator goodies for your MkII, MkIII, or MkVI Marines. That’s 20 rifles, four of each variant, and 20 battery packs to keep the party going.
Araknae Quad Accelerator Platform
A huge orbital fortification gun with quad autocannons and a built-in shield generator. Basically, a big angry space turret with 288 vehicle transfers in the box.
Legiones Astartes Drop Pod
No one saw this coming… The classic plastic drop pod is back with Heresy packaging. Still drops Marines like it’s hot. Comes with 288 vehicle transfers. Why? Because GW, of course.
Age of Darkness Markers and Tokens
Track pinned, suppressed, stunned, and routed statuses with a set of 40 plastic tokens. Also includes eight objective markers, because someone’s gotta claim something.
Age of Darkness Dice Set
Black dice with silver pips and a Sons of Horus logo on the six. Comes with 19 regular dice and one scatter die. Not fancy, just functional.
New White Dwarf Pre-Order
The latest issue of White Dwarf is up for pre-order, and it’s hotter than a plasma gun on overcharge! Packed with exclusive lore, stunning miniature showcases, and tips that will level up your hobby game, it’s like hobby Christmas came early.
White Dwarf 515
This issue is packed. Space Marine mini-game with full rules and cards. Guide to building your own Chapter with art and transfers. Poster, more Heresy coverage, and a look at the Saturnine minis. Oh, and some Skaven content too if you’re into that.
New Black Library Pre-Order Releases
The latest Black Library pre-order titles are here; they’re hotter than a Salamander’s forge! So if you’re into far-future battles, mysterious quests, or tales of heroism, there’s probably something here for you.
The End and the Death: Volume III
Dan Abnett wraps up the Siege of Terra with this paperback finale. Sanguinius is dead, Terra’s burning, and it’s father vs. son in the last round. Pre-order starts next week.
Here Is Where It Will End Map
The limited edition map is back. Printed on cotton, wrapped in faux leather, and includes a shiny pendant. Looks great rolled up or pinned to your wall.
Final Thoughts On This Week’s Pre-Orders
Looks like Games Workshop just hit the big red more plastic button again, and honestly, who’s surprised? Between those chunky Saturnine Terminators, beefy new Dreadnoughts, and enough decals to wallpaper the Eye of Terror, this round of pre-orders is stacked.
You’ve got new toys, old toys in new boxes, and even a map that makes you feel like you’re about to storm Terra yourself. If your wallet isn’t already flinching, it probably will be by the time you hit “pre-order.”
