You won’t believe just how big the new JOYTOY 40k Imperial Knight Paladin is; here’s our review on the price, size, and release date!
Updated on June 27th, 2025, by Rob Baer with the latest information and links.
JOYTOY is already known for its incredible Warhammer 40K action figures, but this Imperial Knight takes things to a whole new level. While their Dreadknight figure stands at an impressive 16.5 inches, this Imperial Knight dwarfs it, standing over 20 inches tall!
Sure, the JOYTOY Imperial Knight price isn’t cheap (thankfully, there’s a five-payment plan), but if you’re into Imperial Knights, this is something you don’t want to miss.
The Details You Need to Know
They teased this beast Twitter/ X in December 2023, and now we know the JOYTOY Imperial Knight Release date is the Summer of 2025. Here’s what makes it so special:
- Height: 53cm (that’s 21 inches!)
- Articulation: 41 points of movement for posing galore
- Cockpit: Includes a 1/18 scale pilot with a detailed cockpit
They’re really going all out with the design. It’s well painted, the figure looks solid, and it’s scaled perfectly next to JOYTOY’s other figures (which barely reach the Knight’s knees!). Plus, there’s a new alternative weapon and paint loadout for House Raven and the Imperial Knights House Terryn now as well!

The JOYTOY Imperial Knight price at release is $734, so, this figure may not be for the faint of heart—or wallet. However, for those who appreciate high-quality collectibles, it’s a worthwhile investment. The pre-order period is still going on, so there’s time to secure your place in line.
What makes the JOYTOY Imperial Knight Paladin particularly exciting is its potential as a display piece or even a tabletop addition. While its size and detail make it better suited for display, it’s hard not to imagine moving it across the battlefield as a proxy for a Warlord Titan.
A Knight Worthy of a Payment Plan
Got your sights set on the JOYTOY House Terryn Imperial Knight Paladin, but don’t want to drop all your gold at once? DavidToys is making it easy with a simple 5-payment plan. Select the <1/5 Payment> option, and you can chip away at your Imperial Dream one piece at a time.
Just keep in mind: it takes all five payments to rally the full Knight Paladin to your collection. Start building your destiny today—one installment at a time. Hey, it’s something, right…
Standing over 20 inches tall, the JOYTOY Imperial Knight Paladin isn’t just a model; it’s a statement. It’s 1:18 scale towers over JOYTOY’s regular Warhammer figures, which don’t even reach the knee joints of this giant. The inclusion of a 4.3-inch pilot figure adds even more realism, fitting snugly into a detailed cockpit complete with a seat and controls.
With 41 points of articulation, upgraded ABS and PVC construction, and a crisp, ready-to-show paint job, it’s designed to be admired straight out of the box.
While not intended for formal tabletop play, it’s hard not to imagine it standing as an impressive proxy or towering over gaming boards as an ornamental piece.
For anyone who’s ever imagined the raw power of the Imperial Knights brought to life, this figure delivers.
Our JOYTOY Imperial Knights House Terryn Knight landed like a wrecking ball in a slightly damaged box, but it made it—battle scars and all.
The packaging itself is oddly gorgeous—way flashier than your average grimdark gear—and inside? One massive, pre-built hunk of plastic glory with an intricate design.
This thing comes loaded: pilot figure, weapons, extra parts, actual rubber cables, and pistons that do stuff. Assembly takes some muscle—the joints are tighter than a new bottle of plastic glue—but once it’s standing, it’s a beast.
The eyes light up (if you can find a CR927 battery), and there’s a mystery button on top of the carapace that might be magnetic? It could also serve as a missile pod mount for a future upgrade. No one’s quite sure, but it looks cool.
The weapons? They’re basically the size of Rob’s forearm—massive, glorious, and straight-up badass. The chains? Rubber, and strong enough that they actually rotate. Nice touch.
Now, the legs surprised us—they’ve got more articulation than we expected. Just don’t go yanking them around like a maniac; this beast has some serious heft.
As for putting this hulking brute together, it’s a good ol’ peg-and-hole system. Surprisingly smooth to assemble, all things considered.
Large & In Charge
Here’s how they compare on the tabletop, too. The Imperial Knight 40k JOYTOY boasts a striking pose flanked by the Forge World Warlord, Warhound, and Reaver Titan, along with an unpainted Thunderhawk, and a finished 40k-scale Questoris Knight in front.
This iconic Knight’s size is impressive as it holds its ground alongside Forge World’s Warlord Titan, standing a whopping 21 inches tall, compared to the 22.5 inches of the Warlord.
Price-wise, the smaller Warhound Titan costs $670 just for the body, and is a fully playable model designed for use in Warhammer 40k games.
Next to a resin Warlord Titan, it doesn’t back down—and at a quarter of the price, it’s a no-brainer for anyone craving a centerpiece without selling a kidney. The cockpit opens, the pilot fits, and there’s even a secret battery compartment tucked behind a vent like some kind of sci-fi Easter egg. Oh, and the chain sword? The chains actually move, although they are rubberized.
Add in an impeccable paint job and poseable armor, and you’ve got yourself a mech that flexes hard. Compared to a regular Imperial Knight, this thing looks like it could eat it for lunch.

Why It’s a Big Deal
This isn’t just an action figure—it’s practically a collector’s piece. The attention to detail, like the House Terryn Knight Paladin paint job, to the articulated arms and cockpit, shows JOYTOY’s commitment to quality. Imagine using this as a stand-in for a Forge World Warlord Titan on your Warhammer 40k tabletop!
We’re not sure how many of these will be made, but we expected a long pre-order period to gauge demand. If you’re a fan, you’ll want to lock one down as soon as possible.
From Henry Cavill’s Amazon series news to the Death Korps of Krieg and Eldar getting new resculpts, 2025 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for Warhammer fans!
