Compared to a normal Combat Patrol for 40k, this is on the higher end of value! If you’re playing Solar Auxilia, you’re going to need everything in this box pretty much no matter what.
Whether you’re just getting into the game or have tons of units, this box basically gets you the Leman Russ for free, and who says no to free tanks? Plus, if you scored the Solar Auxilia Army Box, the combo will get you a solid army to bring to the table.

So, is the Solar Auxilia Combat Force worth snagging? If you like disciplined infantry, nimble walkers, and a free Leman Russ hiding in the savings, the answer is a pretty easy yes. It’s not a full army in one box, but it sets you up with the backbone of a force that can grow into something seriously nasty once you add more armor and transports.

So this is basically the same as the Battle Group that was released last edition. Minus the transport and swapped the heavy sentinel for two light sentinels. For the same cost. Seems they stopped selling the old battle groups and squad boxes to make these new Combat Forces.
